Métis Child, Family and Community Services wants and needs “YOU” to consider becoming a long-term “Volunteer Driver” within the city limits of Winnipeg. 

Is this you?

• Able to transport children to family visits, Therapy, or other appointments requested of you from the Volunteer Driver Coordinator
• Do you have access to a vehicle
• Class 5 drivers license
• Access to approved safety car seat for children
• Ability to relate to children in a warm and caring manner.
• Excellent communication skills
• Problems solving ability
• Kind, patience and a love for children
• Ability to ensure the safety and well being of children

Benefits:

• All volunteer drivers would claim mileage at 39.4 km
• After 15 hours per month claim $15.00 for cell phone
• MCFCS will do the criminal checks, child abuse registry checks
