Our Governing Body

The Manitoba Metis Federation (MMF) serves as the Indigenous governing body for Métis Child, Family, and Community Services providing guidance, and support that empowers us to deliver high-quality programming and services to Red River Métis children, youth, and families.

Our strong government enables us to develop culturally relevant services, such as language and cultural preservation programs, family reunification initiatives, and supportive care tailored to Métis experiences.

With the MMF’s advocacy and support, we can foster a family-seeing approach that uplifts and empowers the Red River Métis families we walk alongside.
